Usual good Ibis quality

Ibis is the chain you are generally sure of the quality. Minimalist, clean, efficient, standardized. So, no surprises. On this occasion: The location is good. You are not in the caotic center, but in 10-15 minutes you are in teh Hebraic part where all bars and restaurants are. Reaching the Parliament along the river is a 30 minutes walk. Similar time is needed to be at the feet of of Buda Castle. The matresses are rigid/hard and to me it's great (I personally hate the soft beds). The room was small and clean. The bathroom is equipped (no bidet...) and was clean. If I have to find 2 negative things: - The sit of the toilet was loose. We have informed the reception - the end of April is considered "winter period" and the AIRCO can't be set to cool-down the room. Now, with 27C outside and a room o the first floor, you can't get fresh air. In fact: the street where the hotel is located is busy and there are restaurants. It is extremely noisy and you can't keep the window open in the night. Last, the breakfast: a lot of choice and different menu on the 2 mornings I have been there.

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights with our 2 year old toddler. Very nice and modern decoration, good breakfast with lots of options, rooms sufficiently clean (i believe though that they could vacuum after the 3rd night of a stay as the dust and hair piled up) & very good location and as its name indicates afterall. The only thing i would also like to have -as they do have high speed internet and smart tvs, is the possibility to sign in my account on Netflix, for example. This doesn’t cost anything to the hotel. When you have families as visitors, who may return early at their rooms for babies to sleep it is nice to be able to hear or watch something which is not in hungarian. The apps were there, but not available. It was a satisfactory stay overall, we would go back, probably not with the baby, on a couples trip.

Great for a short break

Pleasantly surprised with this stay. Room was simple, but clean and had everything you need with a nice tv. Bathroom was bigger than expected as some reviews said they were tiny. Very comfy bed and pillows. Fresh towels everyday (which we used to take to Széchenyi Thermal Baths). Breakfast was great, I’m a fussy eater and there’s was a bit of everything, hot and cold. Good coffees & juice selection. Perfect location for exploring Budapest, plenty of shops and restaurants near by too. Taxi from the airport cost us £30 (13,000HUF). We payed £230 b&b for 4 nights, 22nd-25th March, and stayed on the 9th floor (room 909) which gave us a beautiful view. Would recommend!

The hotel was right in the centre, but in a quiet location. Our window faced the backyard. The bathroom was relatively large for an Ibis. The staff were very friendly. Late checkout for only 30 euros. Breakfast buffet has a lot of choices. Nothing to complain about.

We stayed between 27 February- 1 March and everything was great. Special thanks to Atila for help. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable , also breakfast is nice for this level. Anita was very suitable for hospitality. We will come back again.
